Alexis Garmey Chardon
Ali Garmey Chardon likes to fight for the underdogs. She is driven by a deep sense of justice, and she is not afraid to take powerful adversaries to trial — and through appeal — to get it.
Ali represents plaintiffs in personal injury, civil rights, employment, and products liability cases. She also represents businesses in commercial litigation disputes, helping her clients reach the quickest, fairest, and most efficient resolutions possible. In recognition of her work in the field of business litigation, Ali has been named an Illinois Super Lawyers "Rising Star" from 2016-2018. In addition to her practice in Illinois, Ali is also licensed to practice law in her home state of Maine, where she is privileged to work with her role model and father, esteemed trial lawyer Terry Garmey.
Ali received her undergraduate and law degrees from Northwestern University. Following a clerkship with Judge Kermit Lipez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, she practiced commercial litigation for Fortune 500 companies at an elite commercial litigation boutique. She lives in Chicago with her husband and their two children. She speaks French.
